They're Real!

Yesterday, I took part in the #bbloggers chat on twitter & read so many negative tweets about this product (whattt?). I received this as a Christmas present last year & ever since, I've loved it! So, I thought I'd get the magnifying glass out & do a little review (or investigation) on this 'Marmite'- like product.  To start off, Benefit have got it all right on the packaging side of things, the bottle is really lovely! However, for (a quite hefty) £19.50, you'd only expect to have the best bottle about!

The formula, for me, is amazing! It's doesn't flake or crumble throughout the day (woo hoo!) & it's staying power is magnificent - making it perfect for if you have a busy schedule! The 'jet black' colour (which I'll admit I was a bit wary of) makes lashes stand out (result!). When I first received this I wasn't too sure about the wand, I've never been a fan of plastic wands & I initially thought that the bristles were quite stumpy, but I find that it works perfectly with the formula to create thick, voluminous lashes (what more does a girl want?)!

I have to say, I'll definitely be repurchasing this (& will probably gift this to friends too!) as I love it so much! So...yeah, I'm a fan!

Have you tried this product? What do you think?

    1. I know, I probably wouldn't have bought it for myself! You can always go to the Benefit counter & get them to apply it to you for free - You might just love it!

  3. I really want to try this out as i've heard good and bad and want to see for myself, but i know i don't get on with plastic brushes. I might do what you've suggested above and ask to try it first!

    1. Yeah, I'd definitely ask first! It's almost too controversial to risk wasting almost £20 on it!

  5. I know so many people that love this product and so many people that hate it. My best friend swears by it and has beautifully long eyelashes because of it. It's sad that it has received so many negative reviews.

    Beautiful blog, following.

  6. This is on my list for when my current mascara runs out. I must say, the price has put me off a little in the past but I've read so many rave reviews about it recently that I think I'll just get over the price :p xx

  9. I have a giant love/hate with this mascara! I do love how it looks on my lashes but I find it so impossible and painful to get off my eyes I can't bare to use it. Such a shame because it seems like everyone else has such good luck with it & it does look lovely on the eyes!

  15. I'm surprised to hear people saying negative things about this mascara. I haven't yet tried it myself but I always read and hear good things about it. Maybe people are excepting too much of it when the hear so many good things. I'm still going to try it, thanks for the "review"

  18. I Had a little tube of this in my 'Do the Bright Thing' kit at at first I really wasn't impressed, it literaly caked my lashes. After using it a few more times though (and wiping a lot off of the wand) I've found it to be really great, especially as I have teeny tiny nothing lashes and often wear false ones!
    Love the Blog!
